Strange... I'm running the same version as you, and I've had no problems...CPU usage usually sits between 3-16% on my Athlon XP2200+
Just visited the download site...
Shareaza 1.9 Release Candidate (v1.8.10.2) is the latest version available.
Get it here (http://www.shareaza.com/download/).

Klite is better than Shareaza. It takes too long for a connection and rare in sources.

Not if you avoid the eD2k network, it isn't. :)
I've hardly ever had to queue using the G2 network and it kicks ass for BT downloads too.
It won't give you corrupted downloads either.

whats the point of it if you only use it for bittorrent, you guys/gals need to look to better clients that support the torrents better

What is meant by this?

eD2k= eDonkey2000
In particular, the queues.
Waiting behind 1000 users makes for a far longer delay than the time it takes Shareaza to connect to any of the networks.... and I've had very little problem finding enough sources.
