Print Problem

I'm help my friend get his printer to print. This is the error I get when trying to print. "A fatal error 0E has occurred at 0028:D82BCA2D in VXD LPT (01) + 00003A2D". I went to the Microsoft knowledge base but I could not find anything to explain this error.

Whats the interface cabe? Is it that big wire that connects to the PC?

vxd is a "Virtual Device driver", unplug the printer and uninstall any of the printers software and drivers you have installed and reinstall it all. you could let windows try and find it and install its own driver, either start>printers and add a printer or start>control panel>printers>add a printer, it needs to connected and switched on and windows will search your sytem for it, if it cant find it you should be able to select it from a list ;)
