hey there,
i downlaoded the game, and burned both CD's... installed the game, but now i cant seem to get into the game... with both CD's it says: insert correct CD and restart applications...
i also tried downloading a No-CD crack... but there was something wrong with it...
i really dont know what to do!! :(

you have deviance version?
oh btw ur first mistake was burning the game without checking it for either corruption or errors... next time u get a game try it first using alcohol or daemon tools....

You need to get the correct no cd patch. It usually comes in the files somewhere. Browse both cds and see if you can find a folder that sayas crack or something.

if its the deviance vers..the no-cd crack is in cd1..it says "deviance" folder

yes i have the devians version... one problem though: in CD 1 there is a crack, but when i tried to replace it with the speed.exe file i installed, it just made a shortcut to it!!!!!

right click on it , copy, then go to ur computer , program files, etc.. and when u find the original icon of speed.exe , paste and it will ask u to replace u click yes, u run the game and it will work

iam downloading the game now and u need a newer crack that has been on mirc search for "Need For Speed Underground crack fix"
or u can wait till tommorow or mybe 5hrs more then ill post the crack and pacth 1.0

First of all, props to DEViANCE for this kick-ass title,
unfortunately, it seems that the DEViANCE copy was only intended
for sale in the US, thus europeans, and other foreigners can
expect errors, like NFS:U crashing out to your desktop a few
seconds after you start it with no appearant reason.
Second, this fix is ONLY useful for those whom have the problem
described above, if you dont have a problem, then simply just
close this .NFO right away, not much interrest in it for you
then.
The work-round for this is to set your regional settings to
'ENGLISH (United States)' - yes, it's a bit unconvenient, but
it will atleast make you able to play this magnificent game.
For all we know, this would probably also be a work-around for
the real game too, so that if you happen to have a original
copy, and it still drops out, then its worth a try to check to
see if it might fix it up.
NOTE: This "release" is solely put out to help people to figure
out why their game is crashing. It is not to bitch at
DEViANCE as its not their fault that EA have localized
settings, and if the nukers want to nuke this, well feel
free to do so, though if you have just the smallest
brain, you would atleast keep it, just for information
purpose for all the frustrating gamers out there.

No its a liitle file to set ur setting for US and the game will not crash if u dont live in US

Need for speed underground would'nt install for me from burned disks.
So i used isobuster to copy & unpack or whatever it does to put cd contents into a folder on drive, both cd's to same directory. I had to keep disk two's autorun file, but not disk one's.
I them thought "fek it, game keeps failing to install after 15-20% so will try to run from disk content dir.
Copied over defiance no cd crack, and clicked run.... bloody thing asked for disk 2!
Still thought, nothing to lose, inserted burned cd 2 into drive, guess what? game works!
How is this possible?
Have unlocked 15/111 tracks so far, all music is there, all vids, everything!!
Is this normal? or have i stumbled upon something?

cuz whe i update, I have to crack it again... so i don't know if there is any crack to play it online
