hey guys, I'm sure this has been brought up before......hehe, but reading the first few threads, I see a lot of stuff about xDCC and file sharing with bots and stuff.....
Well, you all might wanna check out http://www.omenscripts.org/ it's got some very cool mIRC file sharing programs, OmenServE, which, will be getting a new update December 25th, 2003 ;) to allow for Multi-Server support.
It is also home to AutoGet, which, the name says it all, it Auto gets files, so no more copy and pasting file requests. though.....AutoGet will only work for !nick filelist servers I think.
But yea, if you're into mIRC file sharing, definately check out http://www.omenscripts.org/ itll make your life a lot easier ;)
Im always in #mp3servers as r00ted (or r00ted03 if my nick gets taken).

who's we? As in the #KLChat crew on IRC? They use OS? I was under the impression you all used xDCC or fServes there judging by the first few threads I saw on this forum:P
If so.....hmm, that'll make me want to join that network even more when OS gets Full Multi-Server support ;) Right now its in closed beta :P

hehe, sorry... Omen has been around for a while, and its an excellent script. Lots of channels use it, some exclusively, like on undernet/phazenet. Anyway.. use Autoget 6.1 for requesting, and everything should fall into place.
Lots of people use XDCC bots, because they are searchable thru packetnews/ircspy, but mainly because they are very easy to download from. ;)

Autoget is accepted in most channels, however it can't be used for XDCC bots. Using it in an XDCC only channel could get you banned... read the 'on-join' when entering a room. :huh:
