What should be the next game to buy for xbox live?
I only have mechasault for live so far

I played Project Gotham Racing2 on a mates xbox, was really fun on live, bloody fast games.
Look at gamespot, there are some good reviews for Xbox live games, from gamers aswell, gives a goosd isnight.

if ure interested in fps, i hear counter-strike is very good on the xbox.
if tennis rocks ur boat try top spin, very good tennis sim.
not sure if Tony hawks is on live, but its a heck ofa game.

counter strike... it got low reviews because the single player is just a bunch of bots on map with no story at all but the online is great.... i play that game from like 10 pm - 7 am every night

I heard its exactly the same as PC version.

Hey ig to a question but i dun want to make another xbox live thread. Oy guys think xbox live is worth it. I mean excluding CS and gotham(i hate racing games) are their any other games? Im rpolly gonna get it for Cs but im ahving second thoughts as they dont seem to be expanding it very well.
WHat do you guys think?
P.S.- Cs does rock for xbox live and the mic rocks too but id still prefer it with a mouse :D

yeah live is worth it :), its linked on a whole network so if your playing one live game it will show you on it and you can accept invites from other people on other games. there are some pretty damn good games on it 2 like amped 2, wolfenstien, unreal championship, mechassualt, jedi academy (best SW game ever), and crimson skies is pretty good from what i played

I heard Knifhgts of the Old Republic was pretty good. Also i like Star Wars Jedi Outcast, that game kicked ass but when i played academy the interface was all messed up and sluggish(this was on pc btw)

the single player is alright but the online just sucks ass.... there are only 1 or 2 match types that people play, theres a good deal of voice lag, you can sit right by someone for 10 seconds shooting and they dont die, you move slow-as-hell, they crammed to many things to do in the controller

The only one I'd recommend is Project Gotham Racing 2 - It's got roughly the same amount of quality as PS2's Gran Turismo A-Spec (some may argue less than, some may argue more than) but the quality and gameplay in the game can allow it to be called a great racing game in its own right. It's also one of the few games I've seen which integrates Xbox Live so well (bit of an annoyance to see say "Xbox Live Kudos Rank" in the main menu when you don't have XL mind...).
Counter-Strike and Rainbow Six 3 are pretty good in your own right, but if you have a decent enough PC then the PC versions will probably be better (controls, regular updates and mods, etc)
You can't really go online with Star Wars: KOTOR though; it is XL-enabled, but that's mainly online updates rather than online gameplay. Shame though :( but maybe that means SW: Galaxies is coming to Xbox soon :w00t:
