i'm currently downloaded a video file and it wont let me play it in avii preview whats the problem the file is supposenly an avi WMP wont play it either what do i do?

I think you need to have a certain amount of the .avi file downloaded before you can preview it (like 1MB or so). It's also possible you don't have the required codec for that particular file. Do you have the K-Lite codec pack installed? If that doesn't help, about all you can do is wait for the entire thing to finish downloading, then use a program like GSpot to see what codec it needs.

256Kb is the smallest amount required :P
