Clean Version Of Bearshare

The new version of bearshare has adware. You can unistall the Weather Caster no problem in add/remove programs. But it also adds a program called SAVE.EXE
its contained in the SAVE directory and even has an unistall program in there. The problem is if you remove it, after a day Bearshare realizes its not there and makes you reinstall it. ANYONE HAVE ANY ADVICE? OR A CLEAN VERSION ?

As far as I know, Bearshare has had Ad/Spyware for a long time. Try downloading Spybot Search & Destroy from www.download.com (search Spybot Search and Destroy) Install, Update it, and then have it scan your system for any Spyware/Adware. As for a clean version of Bearshare.. I don't know of one but you can get a different client that connects to the same network.
