Announcement:
We are currently working on a few new areas to cover more aspects of filesharing. Once completed you will find the following new areas:

chat.filesharingtalk.com - IRC chatserver and client
hosting.filesharingtalk.com - Free hosting for filesharing related sites

Currently 4 people but since everything is private and non commercial it will take a few weeks until all areas are up.

No it's not included on the board. It will be own content management systems to make sure that it doesn't cause load at all. Every area will have it's own subdomain and own server if needed.
The board will stay as it is now - we'll just add some new navigation menu to access all sub areas :)

i dont mean for profit but servers must cost money and i dont wanna see anything more than a banner. i hate pop-ups and spyware and the like.

There won't be additional banners. Only one 468 x 60 banner like it is here. All banners will be hosted on our server to make sure that they don't set a cookie or grab user information.
@ hosting
It will be yourdomain.com (if you have one) or a real subdomain.

I still think we a need a philisophical area or some more serious area to discuss things in our lives that arent world news or events instead of the lounge...
The lounge is mostly filling up with silly stuff even tho there is a fun and joke area thingie....which i understand frankly..its just hard to do both..have a serious discussion say..about dealing with the grief of loseing a loved one...in the same area where there is a "bump" topic etc...not sure what ud call it if you did to it...

O ffs NO more please...
Here is my anology, take 100 people and put them in a room and it is very busy and rather exciting, now give the same 100 people 10 rooms and it is still interesting but a little quieter, then give them 100 rooms and suddenly it seems rather lonley :unsure: , how about 1000 rooms, wait wtf, 1000 rooms for 100 people :huh: , well wtf is the point of that, can we be bothered to enter all those rooms hoping we can get what we once had when we were all in the same room, I think not.
The never ending Worlds were and continue to be a bad idea just spreading us thinner and further away from each other, after all some of those worlds look like ghost towns to me with very little going on compared to the upbeat tempo they had when we were all one.
This appears most noticible in Filesharing. I remember going into that area a regular basis and seeing a constant turover of new and interesting things going on, now I see 10 rooms with very little going on since most of us will not visit all those Worlds since by nature perhaps we are lazy or we will only go where we know, thus a Shareaza user will never notice IRC has a new feature or that a program such as Mute truly masks your IP since he generally only now visits the one World he is a custom too, which in most cases once a week is enough these days :lol:
Now in addition you intend to overload us with a pile of url's, whoopee. How many of us do you think there are :blink: , or how musch free time do you think we have :huh:
I wish I could turn the clock back on all this new Worlds crap and go back to all of us being shoved into a small room, I rather miss those days quite a bit...

I agree with all of that why the f*ck do we need more sections??
Musciworld is now Mafuckto been taken over by Hop hop rap guys and everyone seems to have slagged to soulseek area now
and yes they always leave out teh aussie heres a winter skin and it's not even winter ;)

great look to the new site, but I can't say im looking forward to all these new subdomains etc. The forum was nice and it was just as easy to get info on it.. i think we should just leave it as a forum.
