still klite..in my opinion..still mostly a personal thing..pros and cons to all of them

The two best would be bittorent

http://pingpong-abc.sourceforge.net/ Abc client is the best
http://filesharingtalk.com/index.php?showtopic=54389

and overnet lite just like the kazaa speeds of old, Fast, with all things that kazaa lacks like partial filesharing and sha1 hashing which keeps files mostly error free.
download from here http://ultimate.250free.com/overnetlite052.exe

...in your opinion. Of course, there are downsides with every 'p2p' program, IRC is no exception. Queues themselves are a large downside for IRC in my opinion. Not to mention broken bots ;)

What if there is only one bot available with the file and it's queued up for 4 days?

There are no such problems on newsgroups, the major problem with newsgroups is that not many people get a good free binary service. Most who use newsgroups for binaries have to pay for the privelage

I'd say try 'em all to find the one(s) you like.
I have six installed atm. :o

Really simple.....the one that works best for you!

As others have said, try as many as you can and you'll soon have an answer. There are plenty of ppl in here that will swear by a particular prog and take it as a personal insult when someone else prefers another prog — just visit the eDonkey-eMule forum and read the posts from some Overnet fans who throw a fit whenever someone dares to say they like eMule better  — but I have yet to find a prog that is one size fits all.

I currently have 7 installed and belong to several trading groups on the side. Each gives me access to things another one doesn't. :D

emule sucks

get overnet , bittorrent, klite and some type of irc, between all that you are covered

Posted by: blitz

The filesharing programs right now are just preference......I use Soul Seek

Agrees

I second that

I Think The Top 2 Would have to be Azureus (a bittorent client) and Clean Kazaa Media Desktop (practically the same as kazaa lite) but edonkey and emule ones like that suck for 56k that is why i dont like them but if i had dsl or something like that it would be ok
