I updated the drivers for my graphics card (ATI 9200) and then when i restarted it on half of my screen was showing up on my monitor and i got this error

Then i reinstalled windows and didnt update the drive from the ATI website and it was still messed up. (still getting the error etc) so how do i fix it?

as you boot (after bios but before the windows splash screen) press F8 and you will get a menu with safe mode and other goodies, press vga mode. it will reset the drivers and you will go into windows in like 640*480 and 8bit color and then you can install your old driver again. or try the new one.

Go there and find the drivers for your motherboard. Install them...

I am not going to do this for you...

when you press f8 and go to vga mode it automatically deletes the driver that is installed and uses the windows default driver, you can then after booting install the newer driver or the older one that has been working for you.

http://www.asus.com.tw/support/download/it...266&Type=Latest (http://www.asus.com.tw/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=P4B266&Type=Latest)

download the one at the top. Install it.

Then if you have not already, go to Windows Update and update ALL the critical updates and make sure you have DX 9.oB installed.
