Vid Card Problems

my video did something weird a couple weeks ago, it would have like video distortion like multi colored lines. i only overclocked it 5MHz and my case is pretty cool. ive been using integrated video. is it dead ?

does it do it alot? or anything else wierd? was it a hot day??

thats what happens when it is overclocked too much, praticularly because of heat, although it usually happens to me only when ive overclocked the video ram. Seen as you have onboard video that doesnt make much sense.

no its a geforce 4 mx 440 i have to use integrated video now

so it doesnt work full stop? or it just look weird. have u checked it correctly seated? try putting it back to stock.
edit: and laos make sure onboard video is correctly disabled.

uhh well feel it and see if it is really hot, if so then there is a heat problem that is causing the marks on the screen. is there a fan on it? make sure it is running if there is.
