hey i dloaded lotr 1 and 2 , both in dvd format and they were academy copies... the lines 'for your consideration' kept appearing in between the movie... the picture and the sound quality were great... but im not able to find the same copy for return of the king.... is it out there??? is there atleast an xvid format???
pls let me know...

they're all over suprnova. there's a brutus one, and one telecine one that looks amazingly great, and some other ones by centropy too

i have 1 hr left on that one. vcdquality says it looks pretty good. i always get the impression that svcds aren't as good as encoded

This is where peopel get confused
SVCD and Mpeg are better quality IF there played on your TV they look like shit on the PC AVI are for watching on your PC which I never do could not sit 3 and half hrs watching ROTK in a computer chair on a shitty monitor :lol:
theres always the argument avi or MPEG?
I say MPEG for TV AVI for PC
