So There Are 2 Ways To Download In Mirc?

hello, i'm a mirc noob.
so far, it seems like there are 2 ways to download files on mirc.
first one is to use @find to find the file you want then using !blah blah...
second one is to use /msg blah xdcc send #x.
so my question, is what's the difference between these 2 methods?
personally i like using @find better since i can find what i need fast.
