a good freind of mine has an old computer he wants to get rid of.. i'm thiking about buying it but we haven't an idea on the price

general computer specs...

Via 700 mg (733 maybe) processor
approx 5 gig drive (2 of them)
pretty good motherboard... 5 PCI slots (all empty), 1 AGP slot ( with 16 M video card), one ISA (with 56k modem in it). and one of the little slots that are brown and tiny that are usually under the agp slot.
128 sd ram
Cd burner
Cd rom
Windows Xp pro that i put on it..

if you guys need more info i will run aida 32 on it

thanks alot

Edit: this will be my secondary computer so i can have cs in my room. Will it run cs 1.6 and not be tooo choppy?
Edit 2: I'm in canada so Canadian dollars please.. but if you are unsure i'll change it over myself just make sure you tell me what it is like 1 USD (us dollar)

What are you willing to pay for it?

Posted by: toco004

you will need more ram so it wont be crappy

Posted by: scottwile

i actually have 3 strings of 128 in it right now but 2 are mine... i didn't want to say that cause then you guys would incluse that into the price and i would be paying for my own ram..
so with just 128 what do you think is a reasonable price...

i'm will to pay whatever

I'd go as far as 100 max CAD, not USD
100 USD would most likly be pushin it
50-100 CAD I say....

Hmm not sure about that,
does it Wile??
I don't think it does from what I remember....

no monitor, no keyboard. no mouse. just the tower

I think its only worth about £30 (about $50) ...
as the drives are small, ram is low and sd, and the processor isn't exactly top of the range. Still useful to have as a comp though. :)
