im using the k-lite codec pack but certain divx files have blue instead of red meaning i watch a lot of blue people onscreen... anyone else have this problem? is it the file or the codec... a film about rappers in Detroit all blue?

Well how are your other moviez? Are they ok?
I had many problems with different Xvid moviez, but my screen was scambled and green!
Maybe update to a newer Klite Codec version? Klite Codec 2.0 (http://testbuilds.edskes.com/)
I don't use the Klite codec pack.. i use Xvid Codec from SLD.

i uninstalled all codec packs, restarted then installed k-lite pack 1.7 and it worked. i tried a couple of time without restarting but that solved it!

What player are you using to veiw the movies?
If it is winamp3 then it is a know issue and it is discussed in their forums how to fix it.
