Amplify Movie Volume?

Well, when i go to watch some divx movies, the sound is really low. I have to turn up the speakers a ton, and at the point i can actually hear them hum, and the hum's pitch changes as the cpu usage varies :) is there any quick easy way to fix this other than a new vid card?

Try the TFM sound filter - it should help your problem. The general suggestion is that you should set the level to X 2.5
