i have started to d/l that link you posted, but i dont think explained myself properly. when i put U2 in the search field an error message pops up saying there has to be a minimum of 2 characters in the beginning of the word, so how do i bypass that

your problem doesnt make sense......a min of 2 letters? and u2 is enough?

Dunno m8.Download the list go to u -u2.Press the links on the right to add to your client.Around 10 lps i think for u2

sorry, i was referring to putting U2 in the overnet search engine, that list is for albums but i just want a couple of singles.

The only way you can do it is by also using the song or album name as well as ON has a 3 or 4 string (letter) search limit.

So searching for U2 - Beautiful Day would work.

If you are after singles try "[mp3] u2" however this will limit your search. Similarly for album wrap try "(albw) u2".

But for music try other p2p apps like soulseek or WinMX.
