Posted by: Icey

i could do with 1 of them for gaming.. where did u get urs from?

Posted by: M|k0r

How much was it??

Is it any good? Is it all smooth and easy press buttons etc...

I spose i cud say is it worth the money? :D

Posted by: Soul814

yes itz worht more money but then again whats the use for 2 extra buttons... since im guessing one button is a wheel and there are 2 extra on the side

im gonna get a logitech wireless mouse n keyboard :P the 2 in one

Posted by: Nightwolf

I have a Microsoft optical wheel mouse with 5 buttons. I use the thumb button all the time to go back to the previous web page (the 5th button goes forward). You can program them to do whatever you want. The only problem I have is that some games don't recognize the extra buttons. But in games that do, they really come in handy for things like Grenades or Medkits, etc.

Posted by: "The Avatar Man"

right on. :D
the second wheel can also be used for switching weapons while the first one is used to zoom in or vice versa.
This comes in really handy in first person shooting games! ;)
mine I got at my local computer place for $20 dollars

Posted by: Soul814

heheh online is cheaper i dink :P 16 i dink.. o well... im getting my wireless mouse n keyboard i like it better :P

Be careful, I heard wireless mice tend to respond kind of slow if you use them to play intense action games.

Posted by: Soul814

awww shytzzz... lolz :P darn... intense like what shooting...

well first imma play war 3 n diablo 2 LOD but not online since my parents dont let me have internet on my own com or i will turn out to be like "the great dude" lolz... :P so its all single player but still fun...

I just got a Logitech MX700 about a month ago and i LOVE it. Wireless is definitly the way to go. But... if your gonna go the wireless route be prepared to shell out for the big boys. My girlfriend was on the right track when she got me my first wireless mouse (a Microsoft wireless optical mouse... $40) but the scroll wheel was all messed up and then the most annoying thing of all was that if you didn't move it around for about 30 seconds or so it'd go into it's battery saving mode and then when you wanted to "wake" it back up it wouldn't move for like three seconds.. sometimes you'd have to click the mouse just for it to recognize itself. My logitech is WAY more responsive then even my old corded mouse. BTW.. it's a 7 button mouse, 8 if you include the wheel button too.

Posted by: nizers

oh yea.. i want to get a wireless keyboard too but i think all the good ones come as combo's. Does anyone know of a really good wireless keyboard that is sold by itself??

Posted by: M|k0r

Get a wireless desktop set, as they come with everything...

If u just want a keyboard then go to Ebuyer (http://www.ebuyer.com) as they have sum really good stuff on there that is also quite cheap :w00t:

Posted by: "The Avatar Man"

I have a logitech wireless keyboard and mouse combo.
It responds just fine for my fps games.
but I really wanted the extra wheel and buttons ;)

Newegg (http://www.newegg.com/app/viewproduct.asp?DEPA=&submit=Go&description=wireless+keyboard) has a couple. The one from Lite-On(?) got all good reviews, and it's only $17.

Posted by: Soul814

I just went through the same thing. Bought the $40 MS wireless and within two days it was shot. The left click didn't work at all and it made the comp hang. Went and got the Logitech mx700 and it is great. Worth every penny.

I checked out that keyboard from Lite-On... looks pretty good, especially for $17. I just wish it had a numberpad :(

Yeah, it looks pretty basic. I guess it's mainly for people who have their comp hooked up to the TV, so you can hold it on your lap. But it does have that little mouse pointer, which is kind of cool.

Posted by: Soul814

Ehhh it looks bad what are you talking about!

Posted by: Nightwolf

You're right, it looks cheap.

Posted by: Razz

/me begins to count woot my mouse has 6 buttons  :beerchug:

Get yourself the logitech mx500... the best gaming mouse on the market right now... great for apps like photoshop 7, etc, that require precision.

heres a link... straight off the best counter strike site..

It does not carry the same sense of freedom.
you have to have one to understand how great it is.

Posted by: Soul814

lol what type of batteries u using

plentycell? lol

like a dollar for 20!?!?!

Posted by: Licorne

I had a five button one wheeled mouse, but it died... It started to make really annoying sqeeky (ieeieee....ieeiee..... <_< ) sounds and cleaning it out did not help anymore after a while :D.

Now I've got an optical mouse (no cleaning!!!) without those extra buttons. And to be honest I don't miss the extra buttons at all!

Posted by: Licorne

I accidently posted the same thing twice

Posted by: Soul814

lol.... :P... itz alright

Posted by: "The Avatar Man"

ok let me make this really clear.
this keyboard I got lasts 6 months on a pair of AA alkalines with regular use.

That's the one I got soul. It rules, for the price. Only downside is that the mouse batteries die fast.

That is why MX700 is the best. It recharges when not in use. :D

Posted by: Soul814

pshhh so expensive... i will buy some PLENTICELLS! lol.. they wont last very long maybe an hour... wait i got rechargeable batteries just gotta find em

Posted by: Schmiggy_JK23

The mx700 is nice, no lagg, very smooth, had for two weeks, and swapped it for my mx500, as the 700 w/ batteries was just to heavy for hours and hours of counter strike practice and clan matches.

but a good mouse non the less.

Posted by: Supernatural

Too heavy for the hulk?! j/k

Posted by: Soul814

lolol... wireless keyboard n mouse!

cordless duo!

Posted by: Schmiggy_JK23

Hulk weak! WHERE BETTY!

lolz..

ya, like, i serious game in counter strike, alot, as my team is in cal, and the upcomming ugs season. and i play with various scrim clans, so i cs alot. and it was just to heavy

Posted by: Soul814

lololol... place it on the table...
