Fan Controller Hooking Up Question

i mighta asked b4, but i need to make sure again. i got a sunbeam rheobus (version 3). it doesn't come with any 4 pin to 3 pin adapters for my fans to connect to. here's my q:
do i need a thingy like this:

ok, how bout if i asked, do i need an adapter with a passthrough thingy for the 4 pin molex side, or will it do with just 1?
if the 2nd pic works, i think i'll buy this:

Any of the three will work Abu.
It just depends on whether the fan is the last item on your power line or if you need the line to continue on to another component...

and 1 more thing. can u tell if the 3rd pic (the uv green one from svc) has a female 3 pin thing? it looks like it from the pic. they didn't mention. I need a female 3 pin to plug into the controller

yes in the pic it looks like its a female...i dont see the point in it being a male anyway, so it has to be female...
