Hello!

Can someone tell me the full story behind the negativity here towards ES5?

I have not followed the development regarding this issue as I was away from this board for a while!

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Bitt is insecure. If you're going to use it, you should at least know that

Hello!

So you mean that the negativity is because ES5 are lying when they claim that they are secure while in reality it is unsecure?.

Why is Bittorent insecure?

Is it more so the Kazaa or Overnet?

I don't really want to get caught up in an ES5 debate :)

With Bitt, there can be literally thousands of people connected to you at any one time. This means that with just one anti piracy computer, the organisation can get thousands of IPs of people who are all breaking copyright laws (assuming they are sharing copyrighted material of course).

I use BitTorrent, mIRC and Newsgroups(They confuse me sometimes). I'm willing to take the risk of using BT mainly because it's the most practical of the 3. :)

without getting in to the whole ES5 thing i'll just say i wouldnt use there client, i dont think there very trustworthy. im sure alot will agree.

The search feature works. <_<

Actually, http://earthreactor.com is looking pretty good and its up when torrentz.com is down. Who cares about ES5 or the jive. I stopped using klite cause of the recent hassles with the RIAA suing and currently use bit torrent for 90% of my downloads. Maybe if the RIAA starts going after torrents I will move on to using ES5 for security, but Im quite satisfied with them providing torrents as well. :D

Dunno much about es5 but the http://earthreactor.com site is nice. Besides who uses p2p appz anymore :D

Posted by: johnboy27

Thje earthreactor site is the best of the suprnova mirrors that I can find right now.All the torrents that I have been looking for seem to work(big bonus)it is fast(more than I can say for most the mirrors right now) and as said above ... the search feature actually works(more than I can say on any of the other mirrors)

Posted by: P2PLuvr

It seems to be updated daily so theyve got there hands on it. i like the search features.

I always had a funny feeling about them es5rs but this earthreactor site has improved my opinion about them. I dont give a rats ass about p2p appz anymore anyway.
