this 1 actually seems better, albeit a tad bit more expensive AFAIK.
anyhow, ill try this for my next comp, and ill get a CPU shimmy too (obviously. i mean, theres no heat spreader)
i dont have much experience with athlons so i may need help from current AMD loyalists should the occasion arise.

you dont need a shim for the cpu to work. it may help to protect it, but really its not that eay to break...
