How Do You Save And Later Use Ed2k's?

I would like to save a bunch of Ed2k's, but I'm not sure how to do it and use them later. This is what I've tried, I right clicked on the Ed2k I wanted from a site, and then clicked create shortcut, and then copied it to notepad. Is this the right way to save them and how do I get Overnet to download them later? Thanks.

just save the ed2k link to a txt file and copy and paste it later.
ie.
ed2k://|file|csi.3x22.play_with_fire.ws_dvdrip_xvid-fov.avi|366925824|EB6A4E990FF79A6695A9D03EE6061E1D|/
copy this and store it.
