rip the audio from a film cus i want to get some of the stuff of 8mile eg the rap battles and a different mix of lose yourself

Get VirtualDUB. (http://www.virtualdub.com)
Then load the .avi into the proggy.
Go to file>Save WAV as...
and save it.
Check out http://www.dvdrhelp.com if you need more help.
I also think in VirtualDUB, you can choose certain parts of the movie to rip but your going to have to experiment youself on that one.
