why the fuck when i downlaod sum songs like halfway through the song its screws up totally it start makin screehcing noises n shit and then when i try to donwload the same song theres heaps of the same ones as that and i hve to download abt 7 of the same song to get one good one....help

I can tell you. It's the record companies who deliberately share fake files, in the hope of deterring people from using filesharing services.
The reason it happens more often on the K-Lite network than others is because it uses a poor file-hashing system which enables the fake files to get through - it only hashes the first few bytes of the file, so the record companies put the screeching in 30 seconds into the song, so it won't be detected by the hashing process.
To reduce the problem, you can use a program like MP3 Shield, or just use a different p2p program for sharing music files.

try looking for the song with about 5-30 people with it
or just get ss (soulseek) ;) never got a fake file off there so far :)
