do u hav intergrated video?
if u do thts wher ur memory has gone ;)

Yes, my guess would be the same as jaigandhi5's
I'm guessing you have 32mb of shared video ram that is taken away from your total 256, giving you approx 224mb, but you never really get the whole 256mb to start with, thus giving you your 222mb of ram ;)

it says dat i have 64MB of shared memory....Wat do i have to do to make my RAM 256??
and YES it is integrated video.
dis is wad it says:
INTEGRATED REAL 256 2D/3D GRAPHICS WITH UP TO 64 MB SHARED MEMORY.

it says UP TO 64mb
but it is only using 32mb as far as I can tell, to get your whole 256 back you'd have to disable your onboard video and use a gfx card

if you buy a new video card for your system it will free up that ram.

aaah...so u guys are sayin dat unless i buy a new video card i can't get 256RAM...
Ok thnx for da help!!!

he will probably go for abother 256mb, thats about $60 canadian, but if he buys an mx440 64mb that would cost about $40 canadian...

but that would almost be a waste of $40 as he already has up to 64mb onboard video,a nd the mx440 64mb definatly wouldn't be a huge improvement, but another 256mb of ram he would definatly notice a difference

ok wait a second i m gettin lost here....
Since i wanna make my comp. run really fast i need to add some more RAM. I already have 256MB of RAM and addin more 256RAM would give me total of 512MB of RAM but since i have integrated video card it would take away around 32MB of RAM which gives me around 480MB of RAM.
So which RAM do i need???
I ran a test from crucial.com and dis wat dey hav to say:

let me know which RAM is perfect for ma PC!!

If that's the case the leave it the way it is. The difference between 222MB and 256MB isn't much.

but there's da difference between 224MB and 480MB of RAM...i think it would be fine to spend some money on PC upgrade besides it won't be to expensive if i go for addin more RAM.
so which RAM should i get??

Ok, what do you plan on doing with the computer? the 100mhz fsb you have is pretty bad.. but it all depends what you want to do with the computer.
