For about a year or so, ive noticed that my screen is alot darker then other people's screens, even those that are older than mine. I have put the contrast and brightness all the way up, and i still cant see alot of dark pictures. Its hard to tell what some things are in movies or pictures because it gets dark. Im running at 24 bit color, 4mb video card. Its not that, because i know other people with 4mb video cards, and they have great brightness. Can someone explain to me what i can do? I've already tried adobe gamma loader, but it just makes the screen uncomfortably white.

there are settings for birghtness usually if you right click desktop>properties>settings>advanced somewhere in there. good luck trying to find them.

Nope nothing there about brightness or gamma.
