Question About Firewalls

Hi, I am pretty sure that I have a firewall on my computer, but I want to make sure and see if I can alter it in any way. How would I find out and how could I access it on a Windows 98 OS.

I'm assuming you're behind a hardware firewall (probably school or work), so you don't have access to the firewall.

Well, if your saying that I am at a school or work computer, this is my home computer.

go to here (http://www.zonelabs.com/store/content/home.jsp) and DL the firewall....
search kazaa for the crack... i personally think it's the best (ZoneAlarm Pro)

win 98 does not come with a firewall so if you have not got one dloaded i dout you will have......but to check if a firewwall is running i assume it will be in your system tray ie near to clock lower right corner.........run mouse cursor over all icons and right click to see what is what...

i agree zone alarm is the best very easy to use and set up

Zone alarm IS good, but no way is it the easiest to set up. Go with Sygate if you want symplicity.

Zone Alarm is a firewall. Norton is anti-virus software.
