I need help with the SP-97, putting it on my CPU,
***Is there anybody that has one and know exactly how to put it in properly??***
I tried the site and it is really confusing, cause of the bad pics. :unsure:

but how much Thermal paste is suppose to be applied to the heatsink base???

Only put a small amount of paste. Work it into the surface then wipe off the excess with a lint free cloth. One wipe.
The CPU should have a thin layer to cover the top of the die. Not wiped.

Thats what I did...but on the site it says LEAVE a thin layer on the heatsink...kinda wierd
Also, we used artic silver III instead of the stuff it came with...we should do that correct
