Splinter Cell Problem

Hey. When i start splinter cell 2 it comes up saying this:
General protection fault!
History: ConfigUI <- InitEngine
can anyone help me out?

sounds like a crack problem.

What are your specs? I know errors like this come up for incompatible graphics cards (like the Mx440).

haven't tried splinter cell 2...
but #1 runs fine with my card

I have a pentium 4 2.4 ghz, 1gb ram, and a 9200se 128mb ati radeon.

I just reinstalled it and got the same problem, I've fixed it before but forgot how. :(
