Looking For Good Multiplayer Ps2 Games

me and my neighbor have been playing red dead revolver a lot and was wondering if their are any online FPS games that allow 2 or more people on one console, i have socom and i know its single player only but would like a 2 player online game.
i havent played many of my games online but we have played nascar 2004 and it was unfortunatly only single player aswell online. is this true for all sports games like madden or nhl?
o and also how are the espn games online? can you and a friend go head to head in first person perspective or whatever it is because that would be sick

tony hawk underground is good online and split screen.

oohh wait are you looking to play split screen AND online caz u cant do that. you can only do slipt screen on single player :(
