This seems REALLY cheep for a hard drive. Is this a normal Hard drive?

I have a dell. $100 for a 120GB seems too cheep. What is EIDE?

enhanced IDE is an improvement on normal ide, faster transfer rate if your board supports it, still works as normal even if it doesn't. but $100 bucks seems way cheap even for spoilt american consumers in UK it would be $200+

Enhanced IDE will work with just about every modern PC. That drive will be fine as a second drive for data and backups.

If you intend to have only that drive in your system try to find one that is 7200RPM.

im pretty sure all hard drives are compatiable w/ every computer... lol

Yes, unless you have a really old computer EIDE should work fine. The reason it's so cheap is because it's only 5400rpm. You can get a 7200 for only $20 more at Comp-U-Plus (I just bought this one):

THNX all... God, I love this board... EVERYONE is very helpful.

5400rpm is good enough. 7200rpm has no noticeable advantage.
