The Suffering (PC) - Sound Problems !!!

Played "The Suffering" again after a longer break period of 2 months or so.
As I started playing I noticed that the sound is either getting out of sync or it totaly dissapears.Mostly the gun shots sounds just aren't there ... :crying: wtf ? what the heck happend ?!
When I played the game last time it was running pefectly ... no sound problems at all :angry:
EDIT: Could the problem be caused by the new motherboard I have.Since I played "The Suffering" for the last time I have changed my motherboard, and my new one has a onboard soundcard.Is that the problem ?

what are your specs??
maybe the soundcard has issues with the new motherboard or video card

I have tried to dissable the onboard soundcard.But it didn't help

ok, I have solved the problem.I dissabled the onboard soundcard on the BIOS and now it works fine. ;)

i've played through it, it's pretty freaky but not as scary as these guys are tellin ya (hardcoregamer, like me, always exxagerates things :01: ). and yes it's out there, in fact i saw a bunch of copies @ futureshop the other day. it should be on emule if u want to download it, as for BT, i dont think this game is being seeded anymore.

I downloaded it when it first came out and for some reason CD2 was un-burnable for me, i would always fail at the same point :( Meh game is out on Xbox i'll grab it for that.

from what i hear, the xbox version really really sucks. something to do with the controls.
