This may be the case for people who have all their slots full.
However, if you keep searching you can usually find users who have slots empty and have what you want (these are coloured black whereas the queued users are grey).
Also, you may wanna check out this thread (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/showthread.php?t=67507) for more info.
Hope this helps :)

Well you're in luck because if you use the latest test version here (http://www.slsknet.org/slsk154test5.exe), there is a facility to search for files within a chat room :)
Be careful though, backup all your .cfg files before trying this test version though as it probably still has some bugs that need to be ironed out.

when you search the person, do "get user info" will tell you how long their line is :D

Alright thanks guys, very usefull info.
Do I need to click get place in line when its in the transfers window, or can i just leave it alone and it will download?
Will the CFG files mess up my computer or just soulseek, cuz if just soulseek I dont care bout having to reinstall that...

Also, on uploads, when it says locally queued what do i do? Does that mean there just waiting to download?

Just leave it and it will dl as long as the user is online.
The cfg files keep stuff like whos on your list and is for SS stuff.
Locally is that your dling more than your max dl, setting is in Transfer window...

locally queued = queued at your pc...i.e. 100 people want a file, but you only letting 2 uploads at a time :)
