'Tis a sad day for us pirates, the Andr||Net forum has been hacked, and that's one of the main sources where I get all of my illegal software...I hope whoever did this, get's what's comming to them. Let me grieve in peace... :(

It's been done there before. They (Andy) are a very popular target. So it's bound to happen from time to time.

The main site does, yes. But not the forum. Hence why I never go to the site, I just use the forums.

Their forum is up (and looking intact) but really slow. Can't say I've used it before though.

They all have a file called start.exe which is a trojan.
Just dont run it and u dont get a trojan. :)
i'd still scan teh file before running it though...

i'd still scan teh file before running it though...
if u have norton 2k4 then it'll scan the file it self :)
and since norton modifies and removes viruses from zip file its very easy now a days and most of the sites have the cracks in a zip file :p

Hi, I too used to browse the ANDR forum, but around 2 months ago the site would only display the following message on every page:
"Critical Information
You have been banned from this forum.
Please contact the webmaster or board administrator for more information"
This is before any login and on all 3 of my home computers.
I had asumed the site was having trouble (hacked/service/server load), but 2 months latter and the same thing happens.
As the previous post says the site is working, does anyone have any idea what's going on at my end?

I think you are correct in saying my IP has been blocked, but why?
I have a dynamic IP asigned by my service provider, so they must block a whole range.
If anyone here is or knows andr admin, could you look into this if you can spare the time.
Also a lot of other sites, which I am able to view will not let me download any content. The reason given is that only 50 downloads can be made by the same IP.
If anyone knows about ISP's using this kind of dynamic IP system, please help.
