Over thwe las 3 days 2 people have had to PM me on different forums becuase they siad it did not work here. A he top it showed no new pm's but when i clicked it i had about 20, more from one person who had clicked send abou 20 times becuase it wasn't working.
Anyone else ahving this problem? Only have 66 msgs so not full either.

Well it was a mod who had o ge me on another forum and he said it was giving errors, not sure what errors but i got no email saying i had new pm's but when i went into my pm's i had like 6 from him all the same all like 1 min after each other.

I've been having a problem with trying to ENABLE pm's here. Every time I click save settings it goes to this:
"The resource cannot be displayed
The resource you are looking for cannot be opened by your browser. "
I've tried using firefox too and the same message appears. Any ideas?

Well just click the PM button and turns out i have a new unread Pm but the system hasnt noticed i and hasnt notified me (pop up box, email).

Thats what iv had last week or so, and iv pm'd someone who usually replies to me right away twice and he;s been on the forum but no reply. I suspect he never got the pm's. And i tried emailing him through the board but got an error.

But isnt there a way to fix my pm problem? It means everytime anyone wants too pm me then can't. And how will the mod an d admin team pm warn me? So basically i have to make my email pulic for anyone to contact me? Its starting to happen to others as well.

I send you a mail using thunderbird.
I cant fix the bugs/errors that everyone has lately. its up 2 the other 2 admins 2 fix that!!
I told Brian about this some time ago. It seems he just ignores me or something because I think he doesnt even read these threads.

Well more and more errors are poping up, a few members cannot pm a few cannot...im not saying you fix it, im syaing it needs fixing.
Entity seems to have left since the move the vb. Krohn has done jack shit and is responsible for the more to vb and the errors (IPB was working fine wasnt it) and Rookie seems to do a few things every now and again but im not sure if he would know how to fix it. And You ike are trying your hardest but have no powers.

I had acces. I could do everything in the adminCP and I had ftp acces.

probably need to either reinstall VB or call up the server and find out if they can see any problems with the server.
try to find server info from rookie.

Brian also thinks its a server issue, he contacted the server admin.
So lets hope it will all be fixed soon :)
edit: I think its fixed now. I could change some things I normally got an error :01:

Pete Moss - 123 fuking 4 got it :P
Spider Dude - Hawt cyber chats

errrrr problems are back for me now.
i keep getting the "database errors\problems" error and my pms say i have 0 unread but when i actually look in the inbox i had 1 from peatmoss and 2 from rip_the_jacker.

grrr, I am really not sure what to do. My one programmer had no clue what the problem was, as 80% of the people here do not get it. I'm still trying to figure it out, but can't some up with anything. If any of you can help out or have experienced these problems at other forums let me know

Thats how mine started, then i couldnt pm anyone for a while now hlf the time i get errors.

I wonder if it might be skin related. I use the Synapse skin and haven't had any of the problems with PMs until I got a database error yesterday, although I still had the UserCP problems. PM notifications have been ok though.
I'm at work atm, and the skin seems to change with every function I select. However, I'm not sure of the cookie settings on this pc so that may be part of that trouble.
I can change my UserCP options now too.
I'll start a poll to see if there's any correlation between skins and problems.

Hmm, I wonder too if it has anything to do with the skin being used. To the people with the problems, try using either of the other 2 skins and see if you still get errors. I havn't recieved any errors with any of the skins personally.

Im using Cromo if that maks any difference.

On topic - kinda. I didn't receive a pop up notification for that PM, nor did it tell me that I had any unread PMs at the top right of the screen there - but I was able to reply without a database error and I hardly ever get the database errors when I post, neither. Also I can adjust anything i like in the CP with no problems.
I'm using winXP SP1 with FireFox 0.9.2.
