i heard the trailer on the radio...
the concept of the movie is really scary ('cause all this ghost shit is supposed to be real...)
but hell... i have "the grudge", "saw" and "Darkness" sitting on top of my dvd player, i want to watch them... but i don't dare to watch them alone in my room...im too scared...

1st of ppl, i'm deeply saddened to learn that all (or atleast most) of you find the grudge to be scary, it was not, get over it. hell the ring was a billion times scarrier then the grudge. white noise looks good, but if it's anything like the grudge it wont be scary, so lets all hope it turns out good. i saw this doc. about ppl experimenting with aaevp, pretty freaky stuff.

I think the whole EVP thing is pretty freaky, and really interesting to know more about...
But a whole movie about some guy trying to contact his wife (I think) with EVP? That sounds kind of boring...

Well, I saw White Noise today. I left the theatre feeling "empty," scratching my head, and not knowing what the hell just happened. It starts off great and catches your interest, then slowly starts dragging on, boring you. The movies is about 2 hours full of unexplained events and plot-holes. I think the only thing that made this movie scary was all the unnessesary screaming throughout the movie... one moment its silent and the next someone screams for no reason.
I don't want to post why this movie was terrible IMO, because it would spoil it for most people. If you have seen it, read around at the IMDB message boards, disappointed people are posting everywhere. In the end, I wasn't expecting much, and I didn't get much from it.

I would not recommend paying for it, the only reason I saw it because it was free.
The movie brings up so many unanswered questions, I'd go into details but again I don't want to post spoilers. It feels like your watching some guy watch a blank tape for 2 hours. Then the ending is extra confusing and stupid.

The VCDCentral (Telesync) is a very good widescreen copy of the version out. Pot version is alright...
Movie looks good, iv had the grudge and saw for like 3 months now and still havnt watched either of them, iv just not been in the mood for them really. Like sometimes you want action sometimes you want horror.

I thought it was pretty good. Had my spine tingling a few times. Almost made me jump once (i never get scared from any movie). A few times hella people in the theater got scared. But yea, the part you are talking about... the chick that was screaming... there was a reason for it. ;)

i took my lady friend to see it at the cinema
its rubbish!!
at the start the guys wife goes missing (possibly dead)
then he gets told the news
he dont even get upset or angry about it
poor poor acting
only 1 parts that made me jump
only 3 parts made my girl jump
i rated it 6/10
she rated it 5/10
