The Astros failed to sign Beltran by the deadline. The Mets will now come in and sign him. Mark my words :)

NEW YORK (AP) -- Carlos Beltran and the New York Mets agreed Sunday to try to structure a $119 million, seven-year contract, a lawyer involved in the negotiations told The Associated Press.
Looks like the Mets landed him. I personally think they overpaid for him. Thats what playing in the same city as the Yankees can do to you. The Mets are still only a mediocre team.
