We did a few more minor things in order to help with traffic. You can see that post urls are in .html format now. This should help with google.

Also the main page filesharingtalk.com will eventually just be an entry page to the forum. I may be testing some things out with some odd articles that do not relate to filesharing so just ignore them on the entry page.

is this why the trash section got 'f*cked up' when you use the chromo skin? because the URL's look really weird

I think its better to set the default skin as default until all errors have been fixed (see the todo list in the teamchat)

I don’t think Google cares whether the url ends in ".html" or ".php"

Google doesn't like links that contain ? and &, which are very common with php.

This topic URL is still:

http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/showthread.php?p=972994#post972994

And that has ?, php and # (dunno if the # matters tho)

Are all these topics from 1970 related to these changes somehow? (http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/http://filesharingtalk.com/vb3/f-everything-related-board-10/page815/?&sort=lastpost&order=&pp=20&daysprune=-1)

Might as well dump them if their content has disappeared.

It depends what way you access the topic. Sometimes it's php sometimes it's html. It doesn't matter. Either url will work fine.
