Invader Zim=>Animie or not?

Does anyone know if invader zim is concidered an animie or not...i know its not a true animie...but ive heard it called an animie... :huh:

I don't think it is... it seems to be an American attempt to make an anime. I believe that the title "anime" is talking about Japanese comics... not sure though

Animé is japanese animation, which is pretty much evident from the title.
Manga is the name for japanese comics.
Invader Zim isn't made in japan, as far as i know, but it has a style resembling anime. One could call it a pseudo-anime if nothing else. One could argue that Anime should be more about style than location, in which case zim could possibly be called anime.

Invader Zim is a Nicktoon. I find it hard to watch most of them...Spongebob has got to be the biggest example of Highschool Banger fascinations...so it's also sold at Hottopic stores like Happy Tree Friends. The reason that stuff is sold there is for wtf-ness. It's so weird that it's very entertaining.
Btw, a beach at the bottom of the ocean floor! That's trippy!

I'd have to agree with everybody else. Invader Zim is definitely a cartoon. IMO, most anime are more artistic and have a solid plol.

But it is still on Tv you just have to get Dish Network to get the the new cannel nicktoons
it only shows nicks old cartoon shows like Ren and Stimpy,Rockos,and Invader Zim
but those are only good shows I remeber when I was 12
but trust me it has every old cartoon that was ever on nick or still is i geuss :blink:
