i have just ripped my first dvd using th capture capabilities of my video card. It's the Rage against the machin -- battle of mexico city DVD and it is about 1.08 hrs long. Problem is its 1.6 gig. I have ripped it in MPEG 2. How can i make the file size smaller without comprimising quality (so it is easier to ditribute on kazaa

Go to http://www.doom9.org for guides on how to rip a DVD the proper way and how to encode it to for example DivX.
