I got a PC in September last year which I really consider my dream system, I have a Geforce 6800 Ultra, but now I'm hearing a lot about motherboards that support dual cards... Is this something I should invest in, or is it really not that worth it>

Is there something that your current system doesn't do well? Some specific need? If not then don't upgrade.

My system now is an AMD 3400 @2.2ghz 64 bit
Gig Ram (Anyway I can find out the make without opening my case)
GF6800 Ultra

I just like being on top of the game ever since I was stuck with a Celeron 1.7ghz and a Geforce MX440 for 2 years which has now made me afraid of slipping behind technologically.

Don't worry man, your system specs looks great. You definatley have a very good gamming machine.

If 20 more fps is worth it to you then yes, other then that $500 for 20fps more is crap.

If you're playing on big resolutions like 1600x1200 with dual geforce 6800 ultras you'll be able to play games like Half Life 2 with AA and AF turned all the way up with no worries..

Also there is a new level coming out for half life 2 that is meant for high performance game systems... should be pretty sweet.
