I have never been to one of these sites before and I was just wondering how they work....I am looking for sims2 and well not having much luck on bear share and such. The files don't work. I have ahead nero burner. Any help would be much appreciated.

ISO files, I used ahead nero to burn a different program before and it worked so I don't know what the problem is. Probabably a ID10T error ;)

Download Alcohol 120%, and you can use it to mount the ISO files.
That way you can install the game without burning the actual CD.

Ok on my way to do that, so if there are for cds then I should download 4 iso's am I correct I see 1 2 3 4 ? Sorry to sound like such a moron. LOL.

No no don't be sorry. Your not a moron, your just new, we were all new at some point. ;)
From what I remember, yes, The Sims 2 is a 4 CD game. Download all 4 CD's. Then download Alcohol 120%. You can use A120 to "mount" the image. That way you can access the CD's from My Computer without having to burn them. You can then install the game.

Saves yourself the download and install/crack of a new program.

Yes I have nero too but the files I have are sub, ccd, and cue files will nero burn those?

I think the CCD is for CloneCD, trying burning the cue with Nero, see if it will.
If not, I think you need CloneCD, I'm not sure.

Well I burned the cue with nero, and I was SOOO Happy it started working it loaded let me register and yada yada yada, but then it says insert cd 1 I do that and what do you know the first screen loads up but that is it. NOthing else happens. ANy clues anyone?

95% of the time, after installing the game you have to crack it. Look on CD1 or the other CD's, see if there is a folder called "crack" or anything similar.

No there is nothing that says crack I had the cd keys so I dont' know what the heck is going on.

It's possible the file was corrupted when you downloaded. I'd try burning it again, see if that does anything.

go to a game crack site and download the game crack from there. just becasue it didnt download with one doesnt mean it doesnt need one. youll normally also get an nfo file with the crack that explains where to put the crack

Wait, he is trying to burn the CD images. What does this have to do with cracking the game? Isnt he just trying to back the game up?
