Resolution in old games

Is there a way to increase the resolution in old games? For example, I have Warcraft II BNE, and it's in some low resolution, and it just looks really crappy. There's no .ini file to edit to change the resolution either. Is there a way I could change it to, oh, say, 1024x768? :unsure:
