don't know if the mods have Kad, I've never used mods, but....
for the ones who have the feature, do you use it?
I was fkn around with some searching in Kad, and it seems you get a shit load more results, but....
looked in stats and saw this:

the overhead is friggin rediculous :lol:
so I disabled it :happy:

I find I get a lot more sources with Kad enabled. I guess that probably varies with the type of download. But once I've got plenty of sources I normally disconnect it.

The emule Morph mod has Kad.. thats what I use and I got it enabled....
Emule Plus doesnt have KAd though..

ive found that when dling very rare files sometimes the only sources are to be found with kad so i have it always enabled

I leave KAD on what harm is it and boosts speed on my client i noticed and alot of people that download from me are from KAD but i share music very hard to get hold of so maybe people use KAD more for rare stuff i dunno ?

you'll get about 5x the sources if you use Kad compared to a server connection alone.

I always use KAD. Much more sources, sometimes staff can be found only there.

i do not use KAD since i have all my UDP port closed :(
