Thanks, I will be getting into it seriously in the new year. My main trouble is the TV has only one scart socket. Also my wife insists on having her video recorder connected also. When you use these multiple scart connectors it limits your recording capabilty, unless you unplug the output scart of the device recording. New digital tv is the answer.

I suppose I better get going now. This is the busiest 2 days of my year. going round all the wheelie bins collecting Christmas cracker puns for next year.

you can get scart shifter thingys, which is basically a box with several scart sockets which you push a switch and it changes which input it uses. alternatively, connect your dvd player into the aux in of your dvd recorder and connect the scart out from your dvd recorder to your tv. or instead of the dvd use the video camera, you do know if the video camera is a dv one you can connect it at the front into its own bit?
i recorded harold and kumar go to whitecastle without sound cos i had my surround sound plugged in, i soon fixed it. resident evil time.

We’ve had a DVD/VCR combo and Freeview all setup up through the telly, it took some doing, but every things ok, it can be done if you have more than one AV channel, the combo provided two on top of the normal telly AV.

I got beer and cold hard cash

And something else, a picture to follow later on
