will ESPN in other counries (other then the US) was getting released in Janurary the next year when the fucking season was over they never gave us a chance... and before you say NFL is popular in Australia madden is always the highest selling sports game down here I didnt want to buy ESPN with 8 month old rosters

I played it at EB Games. I thought it pretty good. I think it was harder to score a touchdown than 2004(which I have). The defence is too good.

to make it work

- Mount Disc 1 in Daemon Tools
- Copy all files of Disc 1 to your hard drive in a directory
- Go into Autorun folder, drag autorun.cfg into Notepad, find the line, Demo=0, change to Demo=1, save, exit
- Start install from the directory where you saved the files of Disc 1
- You can mount the other two discs to continue install
- Turn all Emulation Options ON in Daemon Tools 3.47
- Mount Disc 1
- Kickoff!

wasn't going to post this since I do not have a CD-Key but I see

This version is real and works. I installed it using Daemon Tools
and it works absolutely perfectly. Or you can burn it with CloneCD.

There isn't a "no cd" patch yet, that I can find.. keygen, or anything.
I can't wait to play this!! I always have fun playing madden games when they first come out, I'll play the hell out of'em for a couple of days, then i won't play again. But, I have found I'm like that w/ ALL my computer games. For some reason I will be ALL into them, BEST GAME EVER, then ONE DAY, all of a sudden I won't play that day, then I will think about it 2 months later that I hadn't played at all, when I was hooked to the damn game for a week or so.

I did see your post. But, don't you still need a key to set it up? When I ran the installer the very first thing it asked me for was a cd key :\

I got it to work. I just got home. I havn't played it yet.. I'm about to. Have you guys played it yet? How do you like it? I have read allot about the new Vision and Precision passing system, where you have better accuracy if you throw to the guy where you are looking. Looks pretty cool. It seems that a few people now have it (Madden 2006 pc). I would still like to know where I can get it, if anyone could help that would be great. It hasn't been released yet in Australia, and I am itching to play it.I hear the new vision cone is cool, but some are saying that it is just 2005 with a roster patch and few useless add ons, like Superstar mode. Hopefully someone can help me out or point me in the right direction?

i just downloaded this game and i am using Adster's way of installing it, but before it even trys to do anything it pops up with this error saying "a problem occurred when trying to transfer the file 'C;\program file\ea sports\madden 2006\support\en-us\faq.txt' from the media. Do you want to retry to copy the file, or cancel the installation? and if you hit retry it does nothing... how did you guys get urs to work?

CD Key was in the NFO, unless your talking about a legit brought cd key, but why would anyone sne dyou there legit cd key :blink:

Ok, im on x64 and neither daemon nor alcohol are compatable..I actually installed the game by mounting all 3 images with a program called filedisk, which is a virtual drive program that is compatible with x64...The problem is..If I leave the first cd mounted and try to run it, it tells me to "insert the correct cd-rom"

so, I took your advice with ultraiso and the conversion worked fine and I coppied the image to a cd with nero and it seemed to work great...I pop in the newly burned cd...madden pops up and everything seems in order. I try and play and I recieve the dreaded message "insert the correct cd-rom" :angry:

I noticed that madden 05 did not have a "no cd file" ..I am praying to the madden gods that one pops up for 06 or that I can figure out a alternative...I am kicking myself for buying a 64 bit system with all these software(and hardware) issues..Any suggestions would be great... :frusty:

Thats the problem..It doesnt even install..I was in the alcohol forums reading for a few hours and I came across a thread that said alcohol does not support x64 systems..are you on windows 64 the OS? Im wondering how you where even able to install, I get a "internal error 25001, 25007" ect ect then it stops and uninstalls...There where people with this internal error problem on windows xp with sp2 but in my case they pretty much said it doesnt support x64 systems yet. I have a buddy I play games with and he said he has windows 64 and alcohol installed as well :ermm:

* wanted to add I never installed any version of alcohol prior to this because I had the same problem...A few people mentioned I may have old drivers in there but this cpu was formatted recently..

After all the reading I have been doing I feel drunk :sick:

On a serious note I have downloaded a few virtual drives(filedisk, fantomdvd) and none has worked with madden 06..Although they will succeed in getting madden onto your system it will not get passed the disc check...I have The latest alcohol on my other cpu so I decided to put madden on it until daemon or alcohol (heard the beta versions are already out) come out with x64 versions...

And yes I am on the x64 OS...I know that If I was on windows xp alcohol would work but there would be no point in having a 64 bit processor if its only being half used...Some people may not see the diffrence but everyone of my programs loads faster, runs faster and just feels a lot better than when this same exact cpu was on windows xp with sp2.

EA hasn released one yet, im asking if anyone knows other site with custom rosters. I know i seen many before with current rosters or the legendary teams with the former players names in it, i just wanna know if anyone know anysites.

after successfully installing the program. I have tried all of the options listed here to get madden 2006 to start up with no luck. I tried to mount it in the latest version of alcohol 120. I get a message that I have emulation software running and I need to disable it and start it again. I tried to mount it in daemon with all emulation turned on it crashes the computer. I tried this with it as an mds/mdf and as a bin/cue. any one else have luck with it?

works perfectly w/ dameon 3.47 w/ cd1 .mds mounted and i use only the safedisk emulation, but i've heard it works w/ daemon w/ all the emulation options off.


edit:btw my advice would be to uninstall the alcohol and then try w/ daemon 3.47

I dont have it with any of the emulation options on and it works perfectly. I also remember reading somewhere that some people were having the game skip during kick off and field goals. I set my refresh frequency to 60 and its running real smooth with all the highest setting (ATI AIW 9000, 768 system memory and a P4 2.8 HT), just thought someone would like to know.

I have a problem someone here might be able to help on.

I have both alcohol 120% 1.9.5 and daemon tools 3.47 installed. I have tried every single tip on here but whenever I launch the game it freezes on the loading screen. I've tried with safedisk emulation on and off and all emulation off with the same results. I get no error message just Mcnabb staring at me endlessly like he knows something I don't. I've tried the alcohol and daemon tools forums but no luck. I evne tried the ea site and whats really funny is they show how to disable alcohol and daemon tools emulation so the game will run on their own site :blink: . No, you need a legal cd key from a store brought copy, if you want to play online you'll have to buy it.

i found a forum where someone had the same problem, i renamed the music folder in the game directory to anything but music and now my game will fully load the only thing now is i dont have menu music but the game runs fine apart from that, hopefully this will work for some of you too.

No, the two 'soccer' (read: Football) games out right now are very good. Teh shit game is for the American version of Football, which is basically ram, tackle and hurt as many other Americans as possible, then shout hut hut two four hut.

Also while your at it settings/systemsettings/Audio change the audio path to a folder that you have your mp3's in.

DrBeerMan, changing 'limit menu speed' didn't do anything. When I changed the audio path to where the mp3 were in, the game would freeze once I change to another menu (kinda like when it freezes at second to last dot during game startup screen). The mouse cursor still does not move normally. I have to keep clicking to move it.

Can you let me know where you've found info on changing the music folder name? Maybe someone there has resolved this mouse cursor issue.

i have occasionally had a lockup after finishing game, it tries to return to season menu and hangs, i believe it hangs when it tries to switch resolutions back to menu res's......?unsure?

I am having the "CD/DVD emulation options detected" problem.

I have alcohol 1.9.5.2802, trying to use the clone-cd release of this game.

I have all the emulation options and extra emulation options disabled, but when i mount the game, and run it, i still get the error. I have uninstalled clone cd, daemon tools, and nero from my computer.

I just got a burned copy of some madden 06, but I cant make it work, I've just tried everything is posted here, I made the cd images, I changed the name for the music directory, i mounted the images on Alcohol 120% 1.9.5 (3105), on daemon 3.47, w/ all the emulation options and w/o all the options, and also with only the safe disk option... I've just my computer infected with spyware by the way... but anything seems to work.... What should I do... blaspheming...?
