ntoskrnl.exe is esential - but wtf is it doing in your running processes?
svchost.exe is essential
alg.exe is system but not necessary
lsass.exe is essential

ntoskrnl.exe
it's a windows service, it will be in running processes, but it should be blocked from the network
svchost.exe
generic host processes, not necessarily needed
block it and see if you can connect to the net, if not allow it
alg.exe
block it, only needed for home networking or UPnP or some shit like that
lsass.exe
block it, and remember your own damned passwords
firefox.exe
if you wanna come in here and ask any more questions.....allow it :P

ndisuio.sys is a process belonging to the NDIS User Mode I/O (NDISUIO) NDIS protocol driver which offers support for wireless devices such as Bluetooth and the like. This program is important for the stable and secure running of your computer and should not be terminated.

That program looks quite neat - I presume it's a bells and whistles version of Task manager ?

Can some kind sole point me in the direction of it's webite, or one for an equivalent proggie - cheers....
