What multi5 format means? does my PS2 can play it?

I have a modded (Swap magic chip I think) NTSC PS2 SCPH-39001

Multi5 is usually European, 5 languages you can choose from.

NTSC-PAL should work regardless.

I think it depends on your TV. My POS only plays PAL in B&W. Although i did get PAL Marvel Vs Capcom 2 to play in colour.

all multi5 are pal ? I know some of them said "multi5 pal" and other said only "multi5"

it may work on your ps2 if your swap majic can play pal games. but chances are your tv wont play it properly, because its meant to display ntsc...

im not sure, but you could check out, http://www.ps2-scene.org/forums/index.php? . And by the way incase anyone is wondering, JAP games can work on an american ntsc television, because japan use the ntsc format.

Multi5 probably will be PAL, they're for Europe, Europe is mostly PAL from what I know.

Most of the world is PAL, only America's & Japan & far east are NTSC.

98% of TVs play both PAL and NTSC

why the hell cant they just have all fucking games in PAL??? then we can get all the NTSC games Japan and US get pisses me off

NTSC isn't as good quality either
