tar/zipped movies don't work

i got videos from irc
any .tar files don't work
wmp says error downloading codec
real doesn't either work
says sys.info can't read nfo file what to do?

ok everythings working
i downloaded http://www.download.com/3001-2139_4-10407610.html?idl=n
(divx 6 codecs and player) and it all works
