is there any way to restore Windows to an earlier state, ohter than the way through the Accessories--->System tools way. . My windows is acting kinky, and it wont let me restore through that way.

I think that if you boot with windows cd there is an option to fix it.

Or SFC is an option if we knew what the problem was . Sometimes I'v used upgrade option with win xp pro thru windows to replace missing files aswell.
